True true. I hit p. 253 of _M&D_ (end of part I) two nights ago after a
week of reading at a feverish pace and not getting everything (by a long
shot.) Last night I started rereading part I, slowly enough to dwell on
the language. Very nice. (I have also used this reading strategy with,
among others: Herman Hesse, Brothers Grimm, Kurt Vonnegut.)
