To me, any novel worth reading (or movie worth watching) usually contains
enough depth to be worth reading (or watching) more than once.  Of course
there are "pulp" exceptions that are good for an evening's or weekend's
entertainment.  But I am much more satisfied with works that reveal new
depths the second, third, etc. time around.
