I say:

1) Considering the fate of the previous readers of the previous shared "Book"
I think I'll pass

2) Consider the fact that the my pile of books I'm supposed to read in
the next couple of months is now taller than my two children (with one standing
on the other's shoulders and my son is pretty tall) I don't
have much time for ephemeral materials so I'll pass

3) Since I wouldn't want to support the leeching of TRP's reputation
(hey, I lived in New York State the same time that TRP was at
Cornell, doesn't that make me an expert on his works?) so I'll pass

However, I LOVE to read recommended (by friends) books (the reason my
pile is so large) so I would never judge a book until I've read it or until
I've heard or read reviews by folks I respect and trust - (Alas, sometimes
I get burned: I've got a copy of Tad Williams' OUTLAND sitting on the
floor near my dogs' beds) - If _****_ were to come highly recommended
by those I know and trust I would give it a chance
