You don't seem to care very much about logic or accuracy, do you? Nor do you
seem to know much about copright law. Scanning and putting the entire text
of a book online would be the basis for a lawsuit.
Let me repeat myself: "Lineland" consists of at least 75% my words,
Chrissie's words and photographs to which I own the copyright (because I
took them) or have the copyright owner's permission to use.
All other material in the book is very amply covered by the fair use concept
or is in the public domain. I estimate that perhaps 15% of the book consists
of brief comments with no commercial value, all of which are fully
attributed, unlike your quoted material above.
