Don't know, don't have the relevant apparatus at hand to look it up
but I have been puzzling away at it. Clearly this is the Company to
which Bonk, Vroom et al belong. I wondered if it could be something
like Vrije Oranje Companie - i.e. Free Orange Company - along the
lines of the Orange Free State.
