delillo's new book (700-some pages) is called underworld, sounds cool,
and is due out in april. i work at a bookstore & have been promised a
galley some time in late may by out simon & schuster rep (scribner is
publishing it), and i plan to read it immediately, so i'll be sure to
report to all parties interested on my impression.
