Boyle's review is respectful, but breaks no new ground.  I, too, wish that
the New York Times had chosen someone else to review M&D.  Pynchon deserves
Updike, Bellow, Oates, Didion or Roth.

Shaman Drum Bookstore in Ann Arbor has asked me to recommend one review of
M&D for them to put on their website.  I'll let them worry about the
copyright issues, but let me take a poll here: if you could recommend _just
one_ review of M&D, which would it be?  (Providing URL of your
recommendations would be much appreciated.
