     True, but in both cases the design and text layout were done in-house 
     (i.e., at the publisher's office).

     Not to quibble with other claims, but I believe that the Arthur C. 
     Clarke/Gentry Lee "Rama" sequels/collaborations of a few years ago 
     were written on-line as well.  I also believe that Clarke's latest 
     "3001" was transmitted as an e-mail to the publisher (Del Rey).
