There are over 500 mentions of the name `Joyce' in the pynchon list
archives from 1994 to the present. I suspect quite a few of them will
compare and contrast. I also recall that I was involved in at least
one discussion about Joyce, Gaddis and Pynchon so you could also
search for Gaddis. he too is mentioned throughout the archive with
