I wouldn't claim to speak for everybody ( what a FINE world it would be if I
did!), but the reason *I* get uppity about these attacks on TRP is the
nature of the attacks -- they (the ones that totally fry my burger) seem to
miss just about EVERYTHING good in these novels, and pick endlessly at truly
inconsequential nits. (Might be an appropriate name for those reviewers:
inconsequential nits.)
No, he's NOT for everybody (would really like to see something that was).
But it seems like any reviewer who was worth the powder to blow him (her)
away would understand that there was something else going on in these
novels, and approach them accordingly (to dreeeeam, the impos-sible
dreeeemm.....)
