Damn, not just a dog but a talking dog!  Well done, davemarc!
Maybe we should do a genealogy chart for M&D -> GR:  we've got
the Bodines, the Cherrycokes, and now the talking dogs.  (Though
the GR dog doesn't *sound* English ...)
