Actually, it's more like something out of the past. There was some kind of
cult movement called the "iam" movement back circa the 1930s. Also this
phrase or mantra or whatever it is, is pretty central to anything connected
with Gurdjieff, such as the "Ouspenskian nonsense" that is mentioned during
the seance scene in _GR_. -j minnich
