At a place I once was, as children, when we would have a serious
disagreement (especially one of an aggressive nature) we were taught a
"Korean" (in quotes because im not sure how valid this is) way of resolving
disputes.

The two disputers had to touch their heads together until they could
successfully resolve their differences. No growling was recommended, but it
dispelled the anger quite efficiently. Part of anger is invoking a
distancing between the parties (I know in USA a lot of angry people run to a
different room, and then slam the door, emphasizing that they have been cut
off.)

The "Korean" method always worked for us.

Oh, and Slothrop recommends it too *grin*

(sorry i felt guilty about being off-topic)
