It being a long time since I was an adoloscent, I will defer to your
superior perspective on that account, sir.

The big deal is that it's time to let the list live with quotes,
references, quick takes, snapshots, attention grabbing phrases, etc., that
reflect M&D, as well as the other works, instead of just a page number. I
cannot remember topics just by their page number. Include the number if you
wish, but lift the ban on revealing subjects, quotes, etc. It was okay in
the beginning, but does anybody involved in adult discourse feel that their
pleasure is really going to be spoiled by some post here? Give Pynchon a
little more credit than that!
Do you, or does anyone else, for that matter, refuse to look at the New
York Times Book Review, or any other review for fear of spoiling their
read? I seriously doubt it. In fact, quite the opposite. The reading is
enhanced. Control for habit's sake seems to be the issue here.
I think it is time to drop the spoiler warning, and the large blank space
between subject (or page number) and body.
Again, I will defer to consensus.
