Juan Cires Martinez writes:

pin-CHON: (spanish) One who likes "pinchar"

Pinchar: v. 1. To hurt with a pointed thing
            2. To tease
            3. To annoy
            4. (fam.) Miss, fail to accomplish the expected outcome
            5. (fam.) To stick a knife into
            6. (fam.) To inject drugs

Here in Southern California, at least, there's a sexual connotation as
well, and it comes from Mexican Spanish. I wish I could count the number
of times I've heard the phrase "pinchi gringo," which roughly translates as
"fucking American." Given the definitions above, I guess that's not too
much of a leap.
