Background for M&D

Hubertis M. Cummings' ( a name that certainly should be of
interest to TRP) The Mason Dixon Line, published by the
Department of Internal Affairs (curious) of the Commonwealth of
Penn in 1962, contains some great pics of markers, maps, and
Harland's house.  The text is pretty good too. This might have
been a source for the writer, but it has certainly helped me to
understand the chronology more clearly.
