DFW on NPR

I really agree more or less with what various people have said
(Paul Y. and others) by way of comparing P and W. I remember
racing through IJ thoroughly intrigued. Then a few months later
I started the reread. It didn't work. The Pincher is different. What
is there that keeps one demanding a repeat performance? Something
mysterious and deep that's irresistible. And I don't even believe
in deep.
