Not me.  My wife finds Pynchon to be "too clever for his own good".
Doesn't like the stories in "Slow Learner" and found GR just too
intimidating.  Tried to get her to take a stab at Lot 49 but she felt the
name "Oedipa" to be an instance of that "cleverness" and didn't continue
with it.

But, such is life.  Hell, I was thrilled just to find someone who actually
read...period.
