Some of the sentences are long but most or them are not.
The difficulty with Pynchon comes in juggling all the images.
Often he does not write in cliches. It may be "hard" to fit the
pieces together. Maybe this shouldn't be labelled a difficulty
since you can keep rereading and make additional connections
each time. Some will take away more than others but everybody
will find something.
Simplistic but true, IMHO.
