"Difficult"?

The ending of _Lot 49_...how can I describe the affect it had on me?  It
must be what the Zen monks call _satori_.  It was like I'd just read a
book-length ko'an, a riddle with no rational solution that forced my mind
on to a higher level.  I just sat there, incredulous, feeling a flux of
emotions.  But they ended with laughter...
