Pynchon in Norton Anthology

 It's still there.  That's how I got hooked; trying to find something
 interesting to read in Freshman English 101.  I get a big kick out of
their
 description of Pynchon in the beginning of his section, and their
 insistence that GR, because of its sheer size and encyclopedic quality,
 might ultimately prove "static" (whatever that means).  I suppose one can
 forgive their glossing over of his accomplishments by thinking about how
 many people are exposed to Pynchon through their anthology...
