i studied with Taylor at Williams, where he still is, for now.
he's a religion prof. -- but his work covers art, architecture,
literature, psych, etc. -- and mostly playing in the keys of
Derrida, Lacan, Barthes, Hegel, Heidegger, Blanchot, Kristeva,
and most importantly, Hegel

thought leading up to deconstruction)

I find Taylor to be an eloquent, intelligible guide to the
often tangled labyrinth of what spills out of the container
"postmodern."
