Operation Crossbow

Hey foax...saw a movie on the tube over the weekend -- Operation Crossbow,
starring George Peppard and a whole slew of other int'l stars.  It's a spy
thriller and the story line is about the British attempt to infiltrate
some agents into the German rocket development organization.

Just thought it might be of interest to some Gravity's Rainbow fans.  It
deals with V-1 and V-2 development, has scenes set at both Peenemunde and
Nordhausen.  Captures the "farting" sound of the V-1 -- sort of a
sustained "bronx cheer" and also, which really surprised me, the sound of
the incoming V-2 coming *after* the explosion, something your average
viewer, with no knowledge of the V-2, probably wouldn't pick-up on.

Not a great movie, but a relatively decent way to waste a couple of hours
on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
