Remlah

Whilst perusing Kim's Underground here in the Big Apple on Friday, I came
across a 1996 release called _Boeing_ by a group called Remlah. Some
members of the band are also in a group called Skullflower--they might be
Brits but can't be sure. The label comes out of Seattle. Anyway, the
album cover has a pic of a rocket, and a copy of a handwritten letter
about the V weapons, copiously mentioning TRP, Slothrop and the Fool rock
group, GR being a book about the dream of a dying soldier in Vietnam
(Jacob's Ladder sounds like), some rocket strike hitting a Dutch theater
in 44 killing many as TRP's inspiration. There aren't any
lyrics--guitar, drum, organ--my buddy said I'd buy it and listen to it
once--he's heard them before--droning and heavy guitars, not much else.
I know one song is called Knight of Wands

Also saw some docu about some guy from NYC who pplays jokes on the media,
creating his own events and seeing CNN, ABC, cover them for real.--killer
fat squads making sure people stay on their diet, a portable confessional
at the Democratic National Convention in '92, a computer program
adjudicating criminal cases, for instance. He's been on Nightline and
other shows but we'll never see it because the networks can't admit to
their gullability. Guy's name is Joey Skaggs. Quite interesting guy...
