I respond:
I've heard of Lois Duncan but can't say anything beyond that - Susan Cooper
is an interesting writer (in the juvenile genre) and if the criteria I
mentioned
before holds up then, yeah, I guess she fits - She's also married to Hume
Cronyn (the actor who could have played a few TRP characters in his day [Maybe
still!])
