It's from 1979 (Poetics Today, mmm.....that's long ago), it's reprinted
alongside another article on GR & one on Vineland in McHale's Constructing
Postmodernism (1992). Of course it's all about "ontological instability",
(but) it's insightfull & indeed a very good & clear take on the
postmodernist aspects of GR.
