Suck Again--Thomas Pynchon Not Insane!

Suck (http://www.suck.com/daily/97/09/08/index.html) gives the old nail
a few well-placed smacks on the head with some Princess Di commentary
that once again brings to mind--as if we needed to be reminded!--the
wisdom of our boy's decision not to court International Fame, and the
CNN/Bone-photo imbroglio of a few weeks back:

"Telephoto lenses are delicate. When people follow their outrage and
rejection, throwing rocks at reporters and photographers, they should be
informed by a responsible and sympathetic media commentator (who could
perhaps speak to them from behind some sort of amplification system)
that their sticks and stones are useless. The reporters, who are (like
bureaucrats, secret police, or your mom) delicate people just trying to
get by in the same market economy you are, will come right back.... It's
a market that will, in the end, fuck their corpses too, if they're
lucky."

(Odd, how the cadences read eerily like TRP's...)
