Sojourner asks: Where do you know he's an English prof from? I didn't see any listing in the English Dept. for him. I intended to speak generally, not specifically about one person. I do know from conversations with David at the DC meets that one of his subjects IS Pynchon, and that particular alignment of spheres is good enough for jazz. P.
