today, while wandering through what many of you
would call the "Student Union", I saw such a young
woman, or dressed similarly in any event.  She was
waiting in an adjoining line to receive such services
as the bank could provide, and I paused, examining
her briefly, thinking to myself, feeling what statement
perhaps she wished to make, trying to reach out and
absorb the "vibes" she was giving off, and whether
her clothing was a rebellion of hate, or instead a
statement of independence, of uniqueness, of creativity,
of expression of her inner ideal, garbed in a camouflage
military shirt and black leather pants, booted and
armed with an ID, and I said to myself...
