Now, I used to be the resident OED resource-person on this list, which was
OK, since the two-volume edition is right here, perched on me desk.  But oh,
boy -- what?  Hardly back and already under suspicion for *inventing* this
New Testament episode?  

Schwitterz, since you think I'm playing some games here, it'd be best you do
the checking yourself....
