MDMD(8) Opening Comments - Lud

Thanks to Steve for the compliments about the openers.  And thanks for
all the really great stuff lately about Lud from Steve, davemarc, and
especially David. (Yeah, I think "Diggers" is a reference to "The
Diggers," too.  Peter Coyote and...who else started the Diggers?  I can't
remember.  Speaking of remember:  Anybody else around to catch the Digger
Free Store in the East Village besides getting-older me?  What kind of
bets do we take that TRP picked up some cast-offs there?)
     
I would like to ask again:  What is all the business about the Tunnels? 
Perhaps I should have gone over this in my tutorial with davemarc--alas,
a missed opportunity.  I don't understand what they are at all, to tell
the truth.
