I started reading a Very Good Book

[Jeremy Osner]

[apologizing in advance for the only marginally list-related posting...
and it doesn't even contain any accusations!:-|]

This weekend I started reading a VGB in which I hear many echoes of M&D,
and I think may have been part of TRP's reading when he was starting to
work on his latest book.(Pub. date is 1979 and date of the translation
is 1981, so...)

The book is _The Meeting at Telgte_ by Guenter Grass. Read it.
