Herero mention

In a long NYR review (extending over nine pages but with lots of ads) of
an 801-page history of Africa (including prehistory), the Herero rate a
single clause in a long sentence. "But the book continues to cover a vast
number of issues--they include . . . : . . . ; the first German genocide
of the Herero in Namibia, with its chilling anticipations of the Nazi
Holocaust: . . . "  No idea how extensively the topic is covered in the
book itself--Africa: A Biography of the Continent by John Reader.
