Absences in VL

(Dave Morris and Sebastian Dangerfield agreed that Vietnam is so absent in
the pages of VL)...

I know a lot of people think that. But I felt Vietnam strongly throughout,
and I'd argue that the viewers did too, because so many mentioned its
absence. I think that the Vietnam/movement experience many of us had is so
highly charged, that the few direct references, and the key presence of
Blood and Vato is enough.
