And herein lies Zoyd's greatest accomplishment. He has left her open. She
is empty of the fears, guilts and injustices that our parents, and their
parents before, covet as their most sacred inheritance. And Zoyd has let
her be. By not drawing the lines of "responsible" parental control, he has
removed the familial hierarchy that joins so neatly with that of the state.
And so, Prairie has a running start. But now she must face Mom; face pain
and guilt and lust and betrayal ---- enough for two. And we wonder, perched
on the edge of our seats, will she be saved?
