NP Wolfe vs Mailer redux

Don't know why, but NYRB has Mailer reviewing Wolfe's new opus. For 
those who recall the slag wars tween these two a few years ago in the 
New York tabs, this is choice.

Predictably, Mailer starts out nasty and cranks it up from there - 
but this is flaming as high art.

Wolfe: Mailer knows who the lead dog is, 'cause that's the one every 
other dog is following around trying to sniff its rump.

Mailer: Just 'cause Tom's got a bleeding ass, don't mean he is top 
dog.
