Anonymity -- not that there's anything wrong with that

Shoot. You tune out for a while, decide to scarf an eyelid of a couple cheap murder thrillers, see what Pat O'Brian's been doing, read Kate Orman's latest .... Turn around and Yo! it's another <Anglo-Saxon-derived qualifier> Holy War! Tell ya what, Pynchon list is life in the fast lane.
Not sure though, that I quite follow the latest on Anonymous Posters? Far as I'm concerned, everyone on this list is anonymous for all practical purposes. "Doug Millison" looks to me like a real name. Well, fairly real. One might conclude the same about "Michael Baum". Tells you sweet damn all, really. Careful obs of the return address would lead one to conclude that I'm a U.S. federal. Well, that sure narrows it down. Casual research might do even better, but to what avail? Could harass my potsmaster, I suppose. Doesn't really go very far towards the main Question, viz. "Who is he?" [Blue eyes, if you wanna know.] Nor does it really contribute all that much to what's probably the more relevant question ("Does his most recent naive contribution to the discussion make any sense? Yet?") Can't quite see the point, really. I might know (Ouija Board, since you asked) that MalignD's real name is Samuel Stephen "Croquet" d'Alonzo, but it doesn't really add that many jots to my under!
standing of the gent. (He's 52,
_damn_ good looking, manages a combo used book store/small appliance repair shop in Overland Park, Kansas.) Or take ckaratnytsky. GOTTA be a pseudonym.
Nope, I just don't see the point of this one at all.
