Can anyone come up with the lyrics of another Fariña hit, the one about a
trip to Cuba? It did a nice job of beginning with the Dionysian
in-it-for-the-joyride side of the Movement --
Tourist Information said to get on the stick,
You ain't movin til you're groovin with a Cubana chick
So I jumped on a plane, I took a pill for my brain
And I discovered I was feelin all right!
and ending with the in-it-for-real, political, not-exactly-Appolonian side:
It was the Red, White, and Blue comin down on the poor
Blind Mother Justice on a pile a manure
Say yer prayers and the Pledge of Allegiance every night
And tomorrow you'll be feelin all right, hey hey hey!
Cheers,
David
