I would agree. However, to play Devil's advocate, I'll bring up a domestic
example. Every new year's eve in the lovely city of Los Angeles, it has
become a custom of large groups of right to bear arms advocates to fire
their guns into the air repeatedly. Almost without fail, every year some
innocent bystander is either injured by stray bullets or finds these
bullets damaging property.

Here's a small clipping from the LA Times web site:

 Pomona Warns Against Gunplay on New Year's Eve; Law enforcement: Police
say special
 squads will catch and prosecute anyone who fires shots into the air.;

           New Year's Eve on the streets of Pomona may be worse than a war
           zone, says one police captain: The people armed with guns are
untrained,
           undisciplined and, in many cases, drunk.

AA bullets are larger than regular bullets, and judging by the clips from
CNN, they are firing off shitloads of the suckers. I still doubt that too
much damage is being caused by the guns, but, who knows?
