Some comments

[Ken Angry]

Now that I'm sure this thing works I wanted to make comments on some 
things said here. I'm brand new to this discussion though I am a veteran 
subscriber to the dear23 list so I have experience with this kind of 
thing. All Posies fans should contact me especially if you wanto trade 
tapes. I am a fan of Thomas Pynchon since high school when I read his 
book The Bushwaked Piano one of the all-time funniest books ever made. 
In college so far I have read his other book Crying of Lot49 and over 
vacation I have just started reading his new book Mason and Dixon which 
so far is hard to follow but I think I like it. This was my Hanukkah 
present so it better be good! My mom was happy that I asked for a book 
because every year I always tell her to get me CD's. My father said I 
already seem smarter from college which I think is because I'm wearing a 
scarf now and I gave my roomate my old denim jacket with the Pink Floyd 
painting on back which my ex-girlfriend whos at Parsons now painted for 
me. I am a huge movie fan which some of you may have figured out from my 
handle "Ken Angry." For those of you who don't know I took this name 
from the famous director Kenneth Anger who also wrote the book Hollywood 
Babylon. My real name is Scott but you can call me Ken. I saw someone 
mention the movie Zabriskie Point which is a good movie but has nothing 
to do with Thomas Pynchon. This movie is directed by the Italian 
filmaker Antonioni and is the inspiration for the Smashing Pumpkins 
video Today. It is worth seeing for the explosions at the end. Otherwise 
it makes no sense and is a real yawn. A movie by Antonioni that has more 
to do with the theme of paranoia that was in Crying of Lot 49 is Blow-Up 
which is also worth seeing because it has Jane Birkin naked in it :)~. 
Yowza. 

Scott--Posies fans who want to trade tapes can get me at this e-mail 
during winter break. If anybody's got a soundboard quality copy of the 
Sept 19 SF gig definitely let me know.
