If one weren't careful one might jump to the conclusion that agnostics
were those folks who believed in sex, drugs, and rock and roll.
The Christian Gnostics  (manicheans to the core) believed matter was evil
and therefore sex was to be avoided, getting Christianity off to an
anti-sex start. :-)

I'll second Charles' nomination of The Ginger Man for special honors. Far
more than merely 'interesting."
