Saramago and Re: Cathars and Christ

I haven't read it yet, although it is sitting on my shelf in readiness,
_The Gospel According to Jesus Christ_ by Nobel Prize-winner, Jose
Saramago. After recently enjoying his _The History of the Siege of Lisbon_,
I'm expecting more of the same in his retelling of the Gospel -- I believe
Saramago's said to be a non-believer and Socialist.  Given the bits he
included in the Advent passage of GR, it would be fun to read Pynchon's
retelling of the entire Gospel story.
