Perhaps, though 'spiritual' is a funny word for me because its noun
form has the primary meaning (I guess) of the BREATH that gives potential
matter actual existence and since I have been conditioned by science to
view existence in terms of monism I feel cut adrift--where might be
situated the 'spiritual' for me? Fortunately the word also pertains to the
realm of the imagination, which certainly is a realm in which Mr. P works.
And, yes, spiritual is also akin to religious, and clearly reading Pynchon
is a religious experience--nevermind who is standing in for the Divine
Being. So, yes, I agree.

			Agreeably,

			P.
