Sophists got a bad rap, mostly this is due to those two
Greek philosophers, one that had so much unfair fun at their
expense and one that made fun of their language games and
subjective science.

This is the Sophistic. Very popular today, but should not be
dismissed, for it is one of the four foundations of western
thought.
