debatable. You know, can't help it, but Weissman reminds me of Ernst
Roehm--lots of flabby fascists wallowing in some homosexual ritual--In fact,
Roehm and compadres was found dishabille (sp) when rounded up and murdered
in 1934. Sure, Hitler needed the Army, but there were many a sicko
remaining--so, in effect, don't think Weissman sticks out all that much. I
mean, compared to someone like Himmler--could anyone imagine sex w/ that
guy. ugghhh!

and...
So yes, he's more appealing,
>because he ties in his own individual passions to his membership
>in the Nazi project - HOT, and contradictory. Pointy is far more
>sinister, constantly presenting himself as a humble servant of
>science, passionless. COLD. So when his own passion and
>ambition reasserts itself, when he sends Jessica away, he's more
>revolting than Blicero ever is.

Disagree. Don't forget the little smidgen of concern there is for Pointsman
in the text--I've said it before, he may be evil, but he's not always wrong
(insert bj whistle here--hehe). He's just as flagrant a manipulator as
Weissman, and kind of a cold calculating nazi in his own way--who knows what
connections he has on the continent. But these comparisons ring hollow. IMHO
