Oneirine can alter perceptions of Time. As I suggested in
our LSD discussions (oh no, no Terrance don't), though I am
not "FIXED" on this, there are a few instances in
Pynchon--Tchitcherine's and Enzian's questioning of the
legitimacy of the System while under the influence and
Zoyd's X-Ray vision in VL---that seem to qualify, what I
think is a general condemnation of the use of drugs as
"mindless pleasures." 


Happiness is a warm gun, bang, bang, shoot, shoot...I need a
fix cause I'm going down....
