Based on history, it would be a big reversal of cause & effect for the
light from the first nearby explosion to appear four years "early."

Separate from this, I'd still say no. The Song (357-358) gives me the
impression that the light is there for any seeker who travels to its place
to find.

The imagery is biblical, and I'd say seeing the Kirghiz Light is the
experience of some sort of cosmic consciousness, a la burning bushes. The
song describes the effects of seeing God rather than taking dictation and
relating God's words. (The dictation is one frame up (down?).)

Like Jeremy, I'd be curious if anyone knows how the Aqyn's song compares to
transcriptions (and translations) of actual Kazakh folk poetry.
