Is The Aqyn's Song the first time the Kirghiz Light is mentioned? For some
reason I thought that Tchitcherine and Dzaqyp were headed to see it before
they stumbled upon the ajtys. I could be all wet though. (I'm riding in a
car at the moment, and GR is in the trunk.)
Even if they hear of the Light at that moment, are you sure that the trip
to the Light is for "Them"? It's not necessarily of the same cloth as the
stenography itself. (In some kind of Pavlovian slip I typed steganography
just now!)
