Yes, the posts in the pynchon-list archive from the following post on
seem to be overwritten by more recent posts. (In other words, the links
don't match the posts.)

I wonder if the archive simply ran out of space? (I hope it's nothing
more serious.)
I have an email file of all Dec. 99 posts starting from the above, as
well as a text backup of all subsequent (interesting) posts to the list
(just in case, and if anyone is interested).
I guess it's probably a good time to repeat sincere thanks to Murthy and
Oxy for all their efforts in keeping the list a going concern.

(re. Sydney fireworks et al: yes, it's been a really nice *global*
celebration, hasn't it. I liked seeing the snips from all those little
places and cultures, the off-key children's choir, the dancers on
Kiribas, that funny leftover Christmas decoration on the pointy thing in
NYC : ) Off to a good start. Cheers to all.)
