Hey if you are within striking distance of Ventura CA, Nels Cline (solo &
with Scarnella) is playing City Hall next Friday the 10th...these City Hall
gigs are quite fun...hearing state of the art avant-garde (insert your own
genre capturing label here) music in the atrium of a small town City Hall
looking down over the great Pacific Ocean with a 12 foot wooden statue of
Father Sera looming over the performance space and Chumash Indian paintings
as backdrop...it's only $7 I mean my god come on down....next month Vinny
Golia is bringing the Large Ensemble to Ventura High School's state of the
art concert hall....small town America at its best....if you show, be sure
and say howdy.....I'm the extraordinarily handsome guy.....now back to your
irregular programming.
